All patients were still alive this morning at 4.50 a.m. The whole morning we have been busy with all different kind of work, until at 11.11 a.m. a phone-call came from the Silver Bay Hotel (Mytiléne) that they had there a fox which was and injured on the head and soaking wet. They should try if it was possible bringing the creature themselves. And after 5 minutes this indeed showed to be the case. So from that moment we had to reorganize the whole Sick-Bay, because the fox should be lodged where “Emily” is lodged now. The bearer must have driven in a speed even our ambulance can’t reach, because already at 11.44 a.m. he was at the Town-Hall. Showed to be a very stupefied Dog Fox, which was severe injured on top of the head > the bite-marks of dog-teeth were clearly visible. Was as well injured in the right rear-leg, but no fractures could be detected. So see further at DOG FOX. In pouring rain arrived at 8.25 p.m. the volunteer Irah Frid.
